The Dylan Howells Foundation has been setup to champion individuals and sports clubs, encouraging children and young adults to develop and progress in their sport. It will help them enjoy life to the maximum and to fulfil their ambitions, however big or small.
The charity was set-up by family and friends of Dylan who tragically passed away suddenly in July 2016 aged 41 from a heart arrhythmia, leaving behind him a wife, two children and a large group of friends and family devastated.
Dylan was an avid triathlete and keen fan of many sports including rugby, football, boxing and athletics.
The Foundation will provide funding to sports clubs in need of equipment, sponsor events to encourage participation and help individuals with their training needs, striving to replicate Dylan’s spirit of sportsmanship and his natural ability to bring out the best in people. It will inspire communities through activity, teamwork, achievement and most importantly – fun.
