DiscoverU is a charity supporting adults with intellectual (autism, downes, LDD) and physical difficulties to gain skills that may lead to a paid job. We recently took on a lease for an additional building which we are going to develop as a learning skills centre for our members. We want to raise funds that will go towards the refurbishment of the building and make it suitable for people with disability to use safely. We will do a lot of the work ourselves to minimise the cost to the charity however materials will still need to be purchased and this is the reason for our fundraiser.
