About
Birmingham Irish Association are a charity based in Digbeth, Birmingham. They support the community in many ways such as, Irish passport, Foreign birth registration, General Advice, Benefit & housing advice and health enablement. They also have Dementia Centres set up around the city where those with dementia can go and be around people and have a meal and take part in activities. Their minibus collects them and takes them home. They also have a team of staff who support younger children's emotional health. They are currently fundraising for a replacement defibrillator as there's was stolen. Prior to the theft this defib was used on numerous occasions saving lives in the Digbeth area. They are also fundraising to purchase a bleed kit as the knife crime in Digbeth is high they feel this would also prove invaluable to Digbeth and the surrounding areas. Birmingham Irish Association rely on donations for the community to enable them to provide the fantastic worthwhile services to the community. They would be really grateful for all donations received towards this really important cause. For further information please contact sam@birish.org.uk
