Project Embabazi works with Bakiga communities in rural south-western Uganda to prevent and relieve poverty by providing funding, training and support for sustainable community projects.

The COVID pandemic has left Project Embabazi with a large deficit in its finances and a number of incomplete building projects. We need to raise £6,000 in order to complete 7 classrooms at Kyeibale Primary School and to renovate the boy’s dormitory at Kamuronko Secondary School to provide a sanitary living environment.

To support this cause I committed to doing 10,000 steps a day in during May, which will contribute to the 6,000 miles from UK to Uganda.
