Story

Our charity, the Cononley Village Playing Field, looks after the Cononley Village Playing Fields and Playground. Money raised is spent every year on improving the facilities but mostly on essential maintenance, repairs and a external safety inspection to keep it in a good and safe condition. For example, it costs nearly £1,500 to keep the bark in the play area topped up each year! Most of the costs of the playing fields are not covered by the council so the charity is vital in order to keep the park running.
