About
How would you feel if your child/grandchild was in a class of 65 pupils at School? That is the average class size in Loiyangalani primary/junior high school and one class has over 100 students with only one teacher! The Kenyan Government is encouraging more and more children to attend school and while they are funding the building of extra classrooms, the provision of additional teachers is lagging seriously behind. Our goal is to raise at least £6000 through this appeal to hire 2 teachers on 2-3 year contracts until the government catches up. With more teachers the children will learn more, pass their exams and be better placed to progress to secondary school and ultimately find work. Thank you for visiting our Givey page.
