PAFRAS is Positive Action for Refugees and Aslyum Seekers in Leeds. I am making hats and other items to raise funds for their educational, food support and emotional support for people who were forced to leave their country of origin and have arrived in Leeds hoping for a new start to their lives. The crochet hats are made to request - you can pick from the current selection or request bespoke colours. The yarn is washable pure wool, unless I state otherwise. A suggested donation is £10 for a hat. The face masks are double layered with a pocket for a filter. They are made with adjustable ribbons instead of elastic and have a thin metal strip at the top to help fit around the nose. They are not surgical quality and can be washed after use. They are ideal for having in a pocket as they fold up small. A suggested donation of £4 for these.
