Cancer Education UK was formed out of sheer compassion to help educate and support people from the BAMER community who have cancer or have gone through cancer; having noticed that a lot of people from the BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee) community were coming in for cancer treatments or visiting healthcare professionals too late in their disease. Cancer Education UK aims to de-stigmatise cancer as being contagious or end of life and allows individuals to talk about cancer more confidently and to ask questions openly.
