Historia

Our aim is to enhance the social & emotional quality of life for visually impaired people in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury. We offer an advice service, we also have specialist & adapted equipment available to try out. We have a home visiting service, befriending scheme & many social groups & activities. The society was formed in 1922. We are an independent local charity not linked to any larger regional or national charity so we have to work extra hard to fund raise for the people we help.
