Historia

We are the only national UK charity dedicated to supporting the one in ten people affected by tinnitus. In particular, helping those who are struggling with their symptoms.

Tinnitus is a sound in the head or ears, which has no external source and can change in pitch and volume. There is currently no cure.

Here at the BTA we directly help over 270,000 people per year to better cope with their symptoms and manage their tinnitus. We also commission a range of research to lead to better treatments and ultimately a cure.
