Story

Bromley Relief in Need (BRiN) is a local-rooted charity dating back to 1631 that provides essential items (usually up to a value of £300) to people who are in need living in Bromley borough. We fund items such as beds, mattresses, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, washing machines and other necessary goods for referred individuals or families. Referrals come from health and care professionals such as social workers, GPs, mental health workers and domestic violence support workers, as well as the Citizens Advice Bureau and other charities and community organisations in Bromley.

As a small charity with limited income and rising numbers of applications, we are extremely diligent with our funds, ensuring that every penny donated goes directly to local people. No overheads are deducted from the charity accounts as these are funded by the Trustees. Your donation is very gratefully received.
