Sensei Christopher, Chief Instructor of the Blade Academy, is visiting businesses in Leeds and Bradford to talk about the importance of being aware of own surroundings. Attendees also learn basic techniques on how to fend off an attacker and, if they want, pads are taken out for them to strike.

Sessions are delivered over lunch time as a team bonding experience, both as single or multiple events. Participating in a self-defence class gives female employees the opportunity to learn life skills in the familiar and supportive environment of their office. The Academy’s launch event was on 4th December 2019 in Bradford and the ladies at Eatons Solicitors had a cracking time!

The Academy provides karate, kickboxing and self-defence classes suitable for children and adults of all abilities. Students also take part in Kata and point fighting tournaments, and our demo team performs at school fayres and village shows. All activities aim to develop students physically and mentally, whilst they also teach students how to look inwards to discover strength and determination.
