When the Prophet ﷺ arrived in Madinah, the first instruction he gave was to build a Mosque, showing its significant role within an Islamic society.

It is therefore a sad but harsh reality that with over 300 Muslims living & working in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, our town still lacks the heart of a Muslim community - a Mosque.

Currently we rent a small shop space to provide basic, essential facilities such as daily prayers, Jummah & Tarawih. However, with increased rent & the space no longer able to accommodate the growing number of worshippers, we are now trying to purchase a property to convert into our first & only Mosque in Borehamwood!

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever builds a Mosque for Allah, then Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” (Bukhari)
