On the 30th June I will be the ripe old age of 70. Rather than have a party the money used has been donated to good causes which mean a great deal to me. If you were thinking of sending a gift or card to help me mark this big day then I would prefer, if you so wish, a contribution to another charity close to me hence the reason for this fundraising page. The charity is Hug in a bag Blackpool which was started 5 years ago by Debby Marr & Jacqueline Rhodes to help men & women when they have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The bags they supply give Love, Hope & Comfort when they need it most and when you meet the people who have received a 'Hug in a Bag' you understand how it helps them carry on with life knowing somebody is thinking of them. Debby & Jaqueline along with all their volunteers have raised a great deal and I would like to add a little more so any amount donated would be greatly appreciated.
