Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team need to “reach out” to their target of equipping the SwiftWater and Flood Rescue Team with essential Flood Rescue items. Calder Valley has frequently been struck by severe flood events in recent years. Bearing Up! plans to ride, one wheel on the canal towpath system across the country from Runcorn to Goole, passing over Summit at some time in order to raise much needed funds for flood vulnerable communities along this route. “Coast to Coast on One Bearing” (or C2C=A2B) will make the journey over multiple days from July 2020
