We are running the Sheffield half marathon on 6th April 2014 to raise as much as we can for Sudep Action, formerly known as Epilepsy Bereaved - a charity working towards prevention of deaths from epilepsy through raising awareness and promoting research into SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) - for more information see http://www.sudep.org/ In August 2009 Rob lost his sister Rachel to epilepsy. After a long period free from seizures, Rachel's death came as a complete shock to her family and friends. SUDEP have provided support, advice and guidance ever since. It is reassuring that they are continuing to research into the problem so that other people do not have to live in fear of epilepsy. So please support both of us with whatever you can. It's a lot further than we've ever run before and knowing that we're raising money for a charity that is so close to our hearts makes the pain worthwhile! 100% of your donation (and gift aid if you're a UK tax payer) goes to the charity so thank you very much for your kind donations and support.
