Thank you for visiting our Givey page. Beach Access North East - Hartlepool is part of the Beach Access North East Charity, providing free Beach Accessible Wheel Chairs for the area of Hartlepool. We have recently purchased a fantastic powered X8 Extreme chair, second hand and travelled down to Lancing in West Sussex to collect it (700 mile round trip) Unfortunately the piece of equipment needs a number of areas of work to get it ready for service including: Full Service Two new batteries New charger New joypad lever Wheel allignment Sadly the cost of the above is expected to come to over £500. Although the costs of repair may seem expensive the piece of equipment was excellent value for money as a purchase and once up and running will be able to afford many more people the chance to access the beaches and sand dunes of Hartlepool. Beach Access North East - Hartlepool is grateful for any donations, large or small. Should the target be reached, any additional monies will be used to purchase/maintain our other equipment.
