Art Against Knives (AAK) is a youth-led charity born from the unprovoked stabbing of Oliver Hemsley, a 21-year-old student from Central Saint Martins college of art in 2008. AAK works to reduce the root causes of knife crime through arts initiatives that provide an alternative to violent gang culture. AAK_s goal is to provide creative resources and facilitate sustainable opportunities for young people within the multitude of creative industries in London.
