Thank you for visiting my Givey page for the Great North Run on Sunday 10th September 2023. I'm running again for the fantastic charity Spirit of Africa who do amazing work caring for children without families and providing education for young children in South Africa. The Great North Run is simply the world's biggest and best half marathon. I'll be running the 21km in September and it'll be my 24th attempt at the race (so I've got to keep going to do my 25 next year!). Last year I finished in finish in 2 hours 5 minutes and 48 seconds... In training I'm currently at 2 hours 5 to 2 hours 10 pace so it will be tough to beat last year's time. Your generous support will spur me on to try to get closer to that 2 hour barrier. Thankyou for giving as much as you can to Spirit of Africa. The children are depending on you.
