In June 2015 we received a phone call from a doctor - ‘a baby has been abandoned ion the hospital steps, can you help?’ We did help and Saltergate Children’s Home, Ethiopia was up and running. 8 years on we have, to date, taken 128 children off the streets and begging for them is in the past. All the children we care for have food, clothes, shelter and access to medical care and an education. And, most important, they have hope for the future. We are blessed to know Alysha - without her support many of the children we care for would still be on the street - or worse. On behalf of these grateful girls and boys many, many thanks to Alysha and all the wonderful folks who are supporting her run.
