Historia

Manchester has the lowest life expectancy in England. Age Concern Manchester was formed in 1976 to promote relief of elderly people. Governed by a Board of Trustees, the charity is served by employees and volunteers providing a range of caring and supportive services. These include day and home care services in three of the most deprived wards in England; advice, counselling, advocacy and stewardship services for people in residential care and an Ageing Well Project.
