Afghanaid endeavors to assist impoverished rural Afghan communities by building their capacity to enhance their economic and social development in a sustainable and equitable manner. In the course of this work, Afghanaid aims to give special attention to the basic needs of those members of the community who tend to be socially or economically marginalised.
