This will be the 1st of 3 fundraisers for Team 9-5 this year! On May the 5th 2024 me and 7 of my clients (Rory Crighton, Shaun Ritchie, Jamie Menmuir, Declan McKenna, Lewis McKay, Cameron Wheatley & Paul Scott) will be taking on a 24 Hour Circuit Challenge to raise money for local charity Reach Across. Reach Across was born in 2015 after the tragic loss of a loved one to suicide. Now a registered charity based in Arbroath, we voluntarily provide help and support for people who are experiencing mental health issues. They actively plan events and fundraisers to ensure that the people who need help can receive all the support possible. Due to overwhelming support from the local community, we now have our own premises named ‘The Haven’, which in turn provides a safe and confidential environment for people to express their thoughts and feelings! We would like to thank everyone for your support so far and encourage you to get in touch if you, or somebody you know, are suffering from mental health issues. Together we can reduce the stigma! Our target is £5,000. The idea will be to have 6-8 exercise stations, and 2 out of the 8 participants must be ALWAYS doing the circuit across the 24 hours. We will be looking for anyone to sponsor, donate or help with supplies for the day. And anyone who would like to support as a runner for food, coffees or moral support is welcome!! We will start at 5am Sunday Morning on the 5th of May and finish at 5am Monday Morning 6th of May.
