Hi Facebook Friends and Family I am about to embark, with 10 other mad folks from work, on a tough challenge - to walk the entire length of the Hadrian's Wall Trail, in just 4 days during 24-28 April 2015 This trailis 84 miles (135K) from Bowness on the Solway Coast in Cumbria to Wallsend, Newcastle. It's got lots of uppy-downy bits, and in what is forecast to be some nasty weather. I am raising money for the Royal British Legion. The Legion was founded by veterans after the First World War. A century on from the start of that conflict, they are still helping today's Service men and women, veterans, and their families in almost every aspect of daily life. They are also the nation's custodian of Remembrance, safeguarding the memory of those who have given their lives for our freedom 'Live On – To the memory of the fallen and the future of the living' When making your donation please remember to tick the reclaim gift aid box as this ensures the government adds 25% to your donation.
