Hi everyone, my name is Daniel and I am an ex Royal Marine Commando. Me and one of my friends Lee are going to do the Total Warrior challenge, which is a 10 mile obstacle run in the Lake District, on Sunday 2nd of August 2015. It is said to be one of the hardest obstacle runs in the uk. I am going to be carrying a rucksack for the duration of the course with the equivalent in weight of what some of the life support machines weigh (the weight will be updated on here as soon as I hear back from the hospital). The reason we have chosen the Emily Harris foundation is because on the 20/01/2014 my daughter Matilda was born premature at 30 weeks, by emergency c section, and spent 4 weeks in the neo natal unit at Kings Mill Hospital until she was strong enough to come home. We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Emily Harris foundation to help support parents with premature babies. Thank you.
