About
This year I am raising money for Dementia UK. Having witnessed the impact this condition had on my Grandparents and those around them, I chose the first challenge (C2C), as the route, in winding its way through Cumbria over the Penines and via Newcastle, passes through villages, towns and countryside where they grew up, met, married, lived and worked.
Challenge 1
Coast to Coast (C2C) 27th - 28th May 2014
2 seas Irish to North
2 mountain ranges (passes) Lake District (Whinlatter) and Pennines (Hartside - the picture above)
2 days 140 miles
16,900ft of ascent
Challenge 2
London Prudential 100 - 10th August 2014
20,000 riders
100 miles
Olympic Road Race route
Finish on The Mall
