Slum Survivor is a project that has come out of our time at the youth summer festival, Soul Survivor. It is basically an experience designed to help us to connect with the lives of some of the worlds poorest. We will be spending a night and a day living in a temporary shelter, eating a limited diet and facing tough challenges and choices. We are all collecting personal sponsorship. All the money raised will go to support the work of Soul Action and Tear Fund in poor communities in South Africa, Zimbabwe and around the world. We will create a temporary settlement and live in it from 7pm on the Friday to 4pm on the Saturday whatever the weather!
