Put simply, there are certain people in my life who wouldn't be here if it weren't for the Welsh Air Ambulance and until recently I had no idea that the service was funded entirely by public donations. The charity requires about 6 million every year and is aiming to provide 24 hour cover for the 8000 sq miles and 3 million people of Wales.
