17th of April is World Haemophilia Day.
As some of you know Haemophilia is a health condition the closest to my heart, as my Dad and my little Max both have it.
Thanks to Queen Victoria and her son Leopold as well as Tsarevich Alexei Nikolaevich and 2 sons of Spanish Queen: prince Alfonso and Infante Gonzalo this blood disorder is known as royal disease. It is a health condition for which there is no cure yet. Those who have it must take regular medication by intravenous injections for the rest of their life, helping their blood to clot fast enough like any of us.
Living a normal life, without too many boundaries is essential for young children and adults. Thanks to Haemophilia Society life of people with Haemophilia and their families is much easier.
If you would like to participate in this very special day in our life and many other people affected by this blood disorder, you can dress something red tomorrow and donate some money to our favourite organisation.
