Thanks for taking the time to visit my page. The Color Run officially fundraises for Save The Children this year and as much as I believe in the work they do I would really love to donate to a charity I believe could do with some extra support. Alzheimer's Society offers support to people living with this terrible illness. I'd love to see the back of Alzheimers but until that happens it's really important that the support is there for people suffering and their caregivers. My mum did the most amazing job looking after my nana and to care for a parent/family member who is becoming/has become a stranger to you must be the hardest thing. Please, please, please donate anonymously if you feel you would like to donate but can only afford a small amount. A 5k run is quite a big deal for me (who can't actually run, recently quit smoking and has big thighs). Show your friend some support! Honestly 1/$1/1 would still make a difference.
