About
So the day before my degree work is due in, I'll be attempting to struggle my way around my first ever half-marathon! Despite trying to train for it, I'm still certain I will be getting overtaken by various pensioners on the course and would ask that to make my suffering worthwhile you would help me to support a cause which is particularly close to my heart as it concerns one of my own grandparents. Nearly 13 years ago my Grandad suffered a massive stroke which left him partially paralysed and unable to speak, completely changing life for him, my Granny and my family. More research needs to be done to try and discover more about strokes and ways to prevent and cure them, so if you are able to spare even a couple of quid for this amazing charity, we'd all be eternally thankful! I'll be attempting to complete the 13.1 miles in 1 hour 59 mins and 59 seconds(!!!) so if you want to wait and see if I manage it before you donate, I'll understand!
