The Cherry tree Community Association's purpose is to work with the community to enable and facilitate the developments of projects and activities to meet local need. The Cherry Tree Community Association is a local and well respected independent registered charity that was established in 1996, many local residents of all ages are disadvantaged and suffer varying degrees of poverty which can lead to soaring levels of debt, ill health and housing issues. People depend greatly upon the existence of the Centre. The advice service is to provide help, support and guidance on a broad range of personal, social and community issues. Last year alone the advice service helped over 1500 clients.
