Ineke's reason to run - The NSPCC reports that young people are plagued by low self-esteem and loneliness more than ever before.Regeneration seeks to change those trends by engaging with school children in Harrow helping them to reflect positively about their identity and to know they are loved ... that is the main reason I am running The Big Vitality Half Marathon on March 1st 2020 and raising funds to promote this local charity. Coincidentally, it will be my last year in my 50’s -so why not celebrate!!! And as a Practice Nurse, I know how running can be a positive influence for mental and physical health... so for me it’s a win, win, win scenario! I am grateful to all my family, friends, colleagues and church family for your encouragement, in a variety of way- you can do this, practical input, patience and running with me. I also want to thank you for helping me raise funds for this worthwhile charity, who does amazing work in local schools in Harrow. Thankful, Grateful, Inspired and Fun
