Historia

The Stuart Fraser-Thomson foundation is committed to raise 25 000 per year in order to fund mobility solutions for terminally ill patients. These are people who prefer to spend the final weeks and days in their own home with their family and friends, rather than have to go into hospice because they have become unable to move around the house. We then provide the funds to Ashgate Hospice who have a team of dedicated staff working in the North Derbyshire area, once the patients needs have been assessed, the funds are released to pay for chairlifts and ramps, greatly enhancing the quality of life for the patient and their carers through the last months and weeks.
