Story

The Hertford Pantry has been set up as part of the Hubbub community fridge network. It is the new home of Hertfood, a team of volunteers led by Debs Bonfield who have been feeding local families and individuals since the 2020 Covid pandemic. The aims of the pantry encompass all that Hertfood has been doing with the added theme of reducing food waste by collecting food surplus from supermarkets and distributing for free to anyone who can make use of it and save it from landfill.
