I am trying to raise funds for a organisation very close to my heart. mASCot is a parent led peer to peer support network for families who have an autistic child/children or young person. mASCot brings families together and enables them to connect with others in similar situations as themselves. To run all the fantastic projects and opportunities that they offer to local families, they rely on trusts, foundations and local fundraisers/donations from generous people who believe in the cause and who see the wonderful difference they make for local families raising Autistic children and young people. Those who know me well will know, having ditched alcohol two years ago, I've swapped one vice for another and I'm a serious dark chocoholic! Giving it up for a whole month is going to be a challenge!! So although it's not as adventurous as running a marathon or climbing a mountain, it's going to be tough! I really hope you can spare a few quid to support this worthy cause. mASCot has been there for me and my family when we've needed them so I want to give something back.
