About
A friend asked me if I would be up for doing the Three Peaks and without really knowing much about them, I thought it sounded like a good opportunity to work on my fitness and give me a challenge. However, I didn’t realise just what a challenge this would be until hiking up Pen-Y-Fan and doing the equivalent of one peak! So time to get in some serious training! The hike will take place on 10-11 June over 24 hours. We will start Ben Nevis at 7am moving onto Scarfell Pike and then finishing off at Snowden, with the sun coming up. As this is far bigger than I thought it would be, I wanted to use it as an opportunity to raise some money for a good cause. A friend of mine is a trustee for Saavan’s Trust and I think the work they are doing to help provide education and better lives for children through their school building projects and community development is amazing. Being a mum of two children, I know you want the best for your kids. I feel very privileged that my children get to go to good schools and experience so much, that I would love to help children that don’t have the same opportunities. I am a big supporter in buying ethical, fair trade products, that help small communities to grow; so raising money for this charity will go a long way to helping children to get a better start in life. Any donation big or small is much appreciated. Thanks so much. Stephanie
