We are having a 13 hour Singathon, where the choir will sing non-stop for... 13 hours! We are raising funds for Sweden & Edinburgh! Korkraft International Festival, Stockholm, Sweden, May 2016 Edinburgh Festival, August 2016 Following on from the choir’s achievements at the European Choir Games 2015, Barnsley Youth Choir have been invited to perform at the renowned Korkraft International Festival in Stockholm, Sweden. The event is a prestigious one and a unique opportunity for our young people. Furthermore, with a continuing desire to extend the artistic opportunities offered to our members, Barnsley Youth Choir will be performing at the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2016. Both trips will inevitably incur significant costs in respect of travel, accommodation, and meals. We are keen that no-one should miss out on these opportunities due to their personal financial situation and we are looking for your help . Your support will be vital in enabling the choir to take part in these trips. In total, we need to raise over £40,000. If we can make this online target it will be a huge boost to our fundraising. We will also be doing a sponsored Singathon, applying to Trusts & Foundations, bag packing, asking businesses to Sponsor a Child and much much more. Please help in any way you can. Every penny helps.
