In September 2019, I will be walking a section of the Great Wall of China to raise money for One Woman At A Time. This brilliant charity, set up by my wonderful, inspirational friend, Jean Anderson, holds a very special place in my heart.

One Woman At A Time is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in parts of Kenya, India and UK who are severely disadvantaged by social or economic circumstances, releases women from FGM (female genital mutilation), dowry poverty, arranged marriage and domestic abuse. The charity funds education and vocational training that gives women the skills and knowledge to create sustainable change for herself, her family and hence transforming her community, literally one woman at a time.

Please support me, through your sponsorship, to reach my goal of funding a young girl through university, nursing or other vocational training of her choice; and to provide the motivation for my own personal challenge - to get fit enough to climb all those thousands of steps!!!
