Unfortunately this marathon didn't happen due to the weather!! However I will be rearranging will definitely still do a marathon for Hear Their Roar!!!!!

On Sunday 29th July I will be roller skating 26.2 miles - a whole marathon! The South East Roller Marathon will be held at Dorney Lake in Windsor, a beautiful place that I hope isn't too hot! . The heat stopped and was replaced by the rain!

I am doing this to raise money for a wonderful and effective charity - Hear Their Roar. Here Their Roar gives young people who have experienced trauma a voice, and although it's an extremely young charity they have already done some amazing work and I would love to contribute to them being able to do even more!

Training has begun and I'm extremely nervous as I have never attempted anything like this before - I feel a little mad for signing up! However knowing why I am doing it, and who I am doing it for, is really motivating me! Wish me luck!
