Simon Eilbeck is raising £1,000 for Bikes for Refugees (Scotland)
About
To raise money for Bikes for Refugees Scotland, I'm going to get out on my bike on every day of Advent (28 Nov to 24 Dec), come rain, snow, gales or (hopefully) sunshine. In total I want to cycle at least 200km. Bikes for Refugees provide bikes to new Scots, providing freedom of movement and a free means of travel. Bikes enable connection with communities and with essential meetings, services and activities; they promote physical health and mental wellbeing, and they help people to make new social connections and friendships. My bike is my primary means of transport and it's been invaluable since I moved to my new home city of Glasgow earlier this year. It brings the whole city within my reach and it makes travel a joyful thing - it opens up so many possibilities. It would mean a lot to me if you could help Bike for Refugees share these amazing, empowering machines with new Scots. Thank you!
