Historia

Saras Hope Foundation opened a holiday retreat in Crete in 2011 which offers respite for children and young people with cancer and their families. Our mission is to give families from the UK, affected by the devastating impact of cancer, a much needed break from long hospital stays, traumatic medical procedures and cancer related treatments - so that they may spend quality time together recuperating and enjoying life as a 'normal' family - strengthening relationships and creating lasting happy memories. From June 2011 to October 2014, 50 children living with cancer and their families will have visited Sara's Retreat in Crete and we have more families booked to go in 2015.
