Claire Morley is raising £500 for Neuroblastoma UK
About
Dear Friends We did it, on Sunday 7th September we took part in the Swim Britain Open Water event at Blenheim Palace. We were blessed with beautiful weather and fantastic support from our families on the day. We all took a few knocks in the lake and swallowed a few mouthfuls of murky water. However, it was fantastic fun, especially competing as a team. Thank you so much for your support and donations. Bring on the next challenge. Love Tony, Claire, Ian and Steph A beautiful lake in Denham, is where we have been, early on Saturday mornings, training for the next challenge. On Sunday 7th September 2014 we, (Ian Brocklehurst, Tony Connor, Steph Tarrant and Claire Morley) will be taking part in the 4000m Swim Britain open water swim relay in the lake at Blenheim Palace, a 1000m each. It promises to be a fun day out, not only for the competitors, but also spectators, so we would love to see you there. We also would love to raise money for the Neuroblastoma Society. Tragically last year, Alex Sharp, a five year old little boy from our village passed away from this rare childhood cancer. The Sharps are a wonderful, inspirational family and lovely friends, who have fundraised tirelessly. Therefore, we would like to show our continued support of the Sharp family, by raising money for a charity that is so important to them. The great thing about Givey is 100% of your donation, goes to the cause. To find out more about Neuroblastoma, Alex and the Sharp family, Ben, Alex's dad, has been updating a beautifully written blog. www.alexsharpsblog.wordpress.com Many thanks for your support.
