Rowing for a Cause: The Shadwell Basin Outdoor Activity Centre Challenge On the 19th of May, 2024, I will join a team of dedicated individuals that will take to the waters of the historic River Thames in a marathon rowing challenge. Our mission? To navigate the winding path from Shadwell to Chiswick and back, covering a formidable distance of 26.2 miles. This is not just a test of endurance and teamwork; it's a drive to support a noble cause—the Shadwell Basin Outdoor Activity Centre.
