On 29th May, we (Johnny Bray, Rich Lewis, and Jan Ogorzalek) will be taking on the epic RideLondon 100 mile bike ride to raise money to build brighter futures for disadvantaged children in Peru.
We're proud to be cycling in aid of Latin American Foundation for the Future, which has been working in local communities in Cusco and the Sacred Valley for over 12 years, providing access to quality education, personal development, and safe homes for some of the most vulnerable young people: teenage mums and their babies who have experienced sexual and psychological abuse; boys who have experienced abuse and homelessness; indigenous young women from disadvantaged rural communities too far from schools to attend. LAFF's support means they have the opportunity to break out of poverty through the power of education.
The three of us - Johnny, Richard and Jan - will set off from Tower Bridge, cycling 100 miles through London and Essex to support LAFF's life changing programmes in Peru. We know it's not going to be easy, but every pound donated as we push our endurance to the limit will directly benefit a young person in Peru to overcome the barriers to reaching their full potential. Please help us meet our fundraising target and give what you can.
The difference your donation could make:
£10 will cover 1 hour of quality tutoring for young boys to overcome academic challenges
£20 will provide essential school materials for 20 disadvantaged boys to make the most of school learning for 1 year
£50 will deliver 1 personal development workshop to build valuable life skills for 20 girls from under-privileged backgrounds
£100 will cover the school fees for 10 students from disadvantaged indigenous communities in the Sacred Valley for a whole year
Every donation will make a huge difference, and spur us on as we take on the RideLondon 2022 challenge. Please help us change lives and build brighter futures and donate today.
Thank you!
