Story

The purpose of the Railway Benefit Fund is to provide cash grants to necessitous railwaymen, their spouses or children, other relatives or persons who were immediately dependant upon them. Grants can be in the form of one-off payments for a particular purpose, annuities and child care grants. During 2010 grants totalling over _325,000 were made to almost 560 railway people.
