I'm hosting a coffee morning at my house to raise money for Acres Way Rehoming Centre in Thundersley on Sunday 27th April 2014 between 10am and 2pm. Acres Way do an amazing job taking on dogs that people can no longer keep and keeping strays safe from being put to sleep when their 7 days in kennels are up. They make sure they're vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, had treatment for fleas and provide medical treatment when needed. The dogs obviously need feeding which all adds up. They do get a fuss in the kennels and you can see the dogs love the staff. The centre would love the dogs to be castrated or spayed before leaving them but really do not have the regular funds to do this but do offer a very discounted rate given by a local vet. Therefore, all monies will go to Acres Way to help them achieve this. It's 5.00 for an adult ticket and 1.50 for children (minimum donations) to include cake and a coffee or two. There'll also be more refreshments and cake to buy, a raffle and a couple of competitions. If you cannot come but would still like to donate the entry fee and/or buy raffle tickets that would be fab. Please ensure you put your name next to your payment and let me know how many tickets you are paying for if using this site. I will add any cash donations I receive onto this page also.
