As a group we are running for the Living On Bereavement Service who are a wonderful charity supporting families who are dealing with bereavement. Any donations no matter how small will be greatly appreciated. Please read below for further information about the charity's vital work. Living On Bereavement Service supports children, young people and their families in and around Orpington when someone they love has died. The death of someone they love can be difficult to understand for children. Sometimes it's even harder for adults to talk about it. Living On is here to help with these conversations and to encourage children to ask the questions they may have. We help children discover ways and strategies to cope with their grief, adapt to the changes it may have brought to their lives and manage difficult feelings. Our services include one to one support for children and young people, grief groups, telephone, email support and visits to bereaved families, family days and events, resources to families and professionals and support and advice to any professionals working with a bereaved child, young person or family. Living On is a completely free service and relies on support through fundraising and donation.
