Story

The Pickersleigh Centre Association was set up to address the needs of a Ward which contains some 33% of the District's social housing. This results in a lot of problems such as high levels of debt, teenage pregnancy, low educational achievement etc. The Association manages a Community Centre and encourages use by Statutory Bodies and other Agencies able to address these problems either through individual counselling or through the provision of services which opens doors to opportunities and self help.
