When you see the direct impact a charity has on a close friend or family member it makes you want to support them. This is the case with Ronald McDonald House Brighton.
A team of Mum's from St Paul's Pre-School have gathered together to raise funds for this precious charity, as we have been deeply touched by the work they carry out.
Our dear friend found the support of Ronald McDonald House vital in her ability to visit and support her little boy who was being cared for by the Royal Alexandra Hospital. They were able to give the family a place to be together, and even share a special Christmas dinner, as well as a much needed place to sleep close to the hospital.
Lorna and Karen in their "other" jobs also have had heard wonderful feedback where premature and poorly babies have been given the most amazing care at the Royal Alex Hospital Brighton. The help provided to parents at this most precious time is proven invaluable, so much praise is spoken about the support the Ronald McDonald House Brighton has provided whilst the babies are being cared for.
Here is a message from the charity:
Ronald McDonald House Brighton provides free home away from home accommodation to families that have children being treated at the Royal Alexandra Childrens Hospital and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. The House enables them to stay close to their child and maintain a degree of normal family life. The House is run by Ronald McDonald House Charities, an independent charity providing accommodation at over 40 hospitals across the UK
